I’m realizing I keep forgetting my age. I don’t know whether I’m 23 or 24. I just did the math and came to the conclusion that I’m 23.

Anyhow, there was a documentary on parking in the LA area on the PBS station last night. I must say that it was some funny stuff. Highlight: a lady finds a parking space by a fire hydrant. From her trunk, she has a plastic garbage can with the bottom cut out, places it around the hydrant and puts the lid on top. That had me rolling in laughter. The parking situation is completely absurd here, like you’re trapped in a Kafka novel. Make sure you have a lawyer with you when you park in LA to discern what the signs say. Every meter maid will say to read the sign. Ask her if she could understand those signs. Hah.

So it looks like a quiet weekend here in LA. I guess it’ll give me more time to write, paint and read. Bleah.

Here’s something to rile you people up I think.

I hate your face. (I changed my name back).

I’m not old enough to remember the original show, but these are funny nonetheless.

I decided to change my LJ name to “I Hate Your Face”. Damn boredom sucks. But Chai Spice Tea is good.

Me tired. I had some blueberry tea, but that didn’t work. It sure was yummy though. Mmm Mmm good.

Went out with lotusblossum and evildork last night. Got food and saw Punch-Drunk Love with Adam Sandler. My first reaction upon deciding to see this movie was scrunching my face. After the movie, I do have to say that I was disappointed. Ok, the movie was weird. But it tried to use that to cover up the failings of the story. The characters weren’t developed and the humor was borderline exploitative.

I think I had problems with this movie because I neither loved it or hated it. It didn’t engage anything in me. Bleah. I’ll just listen to Pat Benetar and do the shoulder shimmy. 😛

I think I should focus first on my family voting for me before I start worrying about getting the union vote. 🙂
