Dia de los muertos?

I just found this out today: Self Help Graphics was shut down by its Board of Directors. I’m completely flabberghasted. They had art classes for the kiddies, art shows that brought Chicano/-a art into the mainstream. It was a place that the community of East LA had to meet and express themselves. The best times I had there were at the Dia de los Muertos festivals they had. It was filled with music, booths, crafts, arts, food. Everything!
