As a dedicated Pitchfork reader, I was irked at what I found this morning. Today, they posted their top 50 records of 2003 and completely ignored one that is on top of my favorite list: Xiu Xiu’s A Promise. I’m sorry, but The Postal Service was on the list and Xiu Xiu wasn’t? Pfft. Whatever. I’m over it. Like I keep saying, I’m convinced I’m out of touch with everything.
