At work, N___ called me up and said that Nivesh was in town. Nivesh is this wacky, OCD-filled insane guy who is also brilliant and annoying (in a good way) at the same time. I haven’t seen him since the summer after freshman year of college, so it’s been a while. We ended up hanging out with Aaron whom I haven’t seen since high school graduation. So it was good times. In the process I ended up getting the new Sightings and Kaito albums. Whoo!

I’ve come to the conclusion that I do miss some of my high school friends, but only some of them. Others… well… they can all suck their own clits.

Whining Whining Whining

I’m not apologizing for the whining I will be doing in this post.

  • On Saturday, I found 3 pairs of shoes that looked cool, hip, whatever. So I ask to see them in size 11 (my shoe size). You can imagine the look on my face when after waiting for the saleperson to get the shoes they tell me, “Sorry, the closest size we have is 10 or 12.” AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!
  • Yesterday, we had a consolidated birthday celebration for several of my aunts and uncles. On the menu was Korean-style bacon (which smells bad and is gross looking) and Korean style BBQ ribs (I hate rib meat). That relegated me to salad and sorbet. Nevermind my entire family knows I hate rib meat. Eh. Whatever. I had that greasy tamale last night so I guess it was ok in the end.
  • This morning, the facilities manager informed us that he was switching our(Accounting’s) conference table with Engineering’s. Once we bought our table about a year ago, Engineering decided they wanted the same one. IKEA phased out that style and Engineering since has not been able to find a table. So it looks like the VP of Engineering has decided to pull a switcheroo.
     Now it took us 3 months to find our table. We went during our lunch breaks trying to find a table that was within our budget. Conference tables are fucking expensive, however we managed to get a good one at IKEA for cheap. If Engineering can’t get off their lazy asses to buy a fucking table, why the fuck should we be punished? Although the CFO says that he’ll get us a new table, none of us want to go through the whole ordeal of shopping for a table. Fuck that shit! Grrrrrrrrrr….

    Ok. I think I got everything off of my chest now. You may continue through your day.

    Ok peoples. I have put what I have finished of my redesigned website up here. You will encounter some dead links (the blog, writing archive, links and contact), but that I will hopefully get done within the next week or so. Now I have done this without the aid of Adobe Illustrator, so forgive the recycling of graphics.

    I just ate this really greasy tamale so I think I will quietly go over to the corner and explode.

    I was out with my_bootay tonight. I’ve come to the conclusion that I need to buy shoes. Now, this isn’t for the obvious reason. No. Somehow we got started on the subject of dioramas, and I decided I wanted to make a diorama since I’ve never made one before. Don’t ask me how I got through schooling without having to make one at some point in my life. So I need a shoebox in order to make a diorama.

    Later on, we start talking about the whole sodomy thing and she curtly remarks how I should make a diorama about it. So I have inspiration now. I am going to make a SODOMY DIORAMA!!!!! So I’ll do some sketches this weekend and maybe fumble around with scenery and such. I’ll post pics of it when I’m finished, trust me.

    Anyhow, I managed to buy the new Locust album Plague Landscapes. 23 songs in 21 minutes. I love this band (although I think I will skip out on their show this time around.) Pfft.

    My apologies to mcgee. I just woke up from a nap and can’t make it to the Knitting Factory. *yawns and stretches* Perhaps next time. I promise.

    You know what? Fuck gay pride parades. Yes. I feel like walking down a fucking street draped in the logos of corporations that have kept us fags down in the first place. These are the companies that are refusing to give us the right to marry. Fuck domestic partnerships. We want marriage!!!

    Actually… come to think of it, I don’t want to get married. I find the idea to be absurd and frivolous. No. Let’s do this instead: BAN MARRIAGES!!!! That’s better. Let’s get these fucking heteros down on our level. Heh.
