For some reason, there was the smell of fried chicken around my house last night so I got me some Pioneer Chicken for dinner. Then angiewarhol and I went to see Islands at the Fonda and heckled everyone in our sight. Hehehe. Fun times!
I had Norman over for dinner, so I made my pork chop extravaganza! We ate and yakked and it was nice catching up with him since he’s moved to that horrible pitiful city that is Frisco.
After work I went to vote. I was in line for about 10 minutes before a booth opened up. I’ve never seen a precinct packed like that ever. Then off to the gym (where I lost my sticker while running on the treadmill) and made my 30-minute poor man’s jambalaya. The election coverage on Fox News was by far the funniest. You just had to see it.
Roomie’s boytoy wanted to go to the gym with me, so I brought him along. I’m very solitary when I workout and don’t want interruptions. Anyhow, I did the standard shit I usually do, so nothing to see here!
While watching the atrocity that was the Miami/Chicago game, I decided to start my cleaning early. Boy that was a miserable game! I also made the grossest sauce for dinner. I guess I need to improve on my sauce-making. 🙁
I just had a chill day with doing the podcast, watching a couple of DVDs and just not doing anything. I hope this doesn’t become a habit though. Eek.
While I was waiting around for Madd to get here, I just farted around. Then she came over and we went to Daikokuya since we were really really hungry. And since we haven’t talked to each other in weeks, it was nice to catch up on things, deal with our personal emergencies and all. 🙂
I didn’t go to the gym since I was just physically exhausted. Since it was my turn to cater movie night, I had aspirations of going to different supermarket delis to pick out little appetizers. But Roomie and I talked about her fight w/ her boyfriend the night before, and the next thing you know it’s almost time for movie night! So I did my standard Chinese food thing and brought Brazil with me. It’s the first time I’ve seen the movie the whole way through, and I must say it was great! Bizarre but great. 🙂
Happy Halloween! Yeah right. I just wasn’t in the mood this year to figure out what to dress as or anything. So nada. I did my now-normal gym routine then went to Trader Joes and made some dinner. I know, very exciting.
