So it’s Wednesday and all doesn’t seem too bleak. It’s not been too painful here at work.

Actually I take that back. Yesterday, my coworker and I went to Farmer’s Market here in Torrance for lunch. It was an absolutely beautiful day. The sky was bright and the weather was warm. Having to go back to work seemed like the worst thing to do.

Upon getting back to work, I was completely unmotivated to do anything. I wanted to be outside sipping a lemonade with a picnic blanket in the sun reading a nice book. Perhaps get some music going on with a disc-man or something like that.

So last night, I got the first round of VD cards done. I’m still needing the addresses of a couple of people which I’m hoping to get done tonight. I also need to a batch for my coworkers. Fun fun fun!!!!

So what’s everyone up to for VD?

There’s a really interesting thread going on at the community. They’re counting backwards the top 1000 indie songs. It’s probably the most interesting thing I have seen in a community in ages. Participate!

BTW, welcome to mattrofact and chefbuck13. Actually, I have no clue who chefbuck13 is. *shrugs*

Sorry. This Pixies thing has me really excited. Excited enough to buy a ticket to Coachella? I don’t know. But the rest of the line-up for the first day is impressive enough for me to consider going.

Other than that, nothing much is going on.

Good morning peoples. My life this weekend:

Friday: Jerry’s Deli w/ urbanemonkey, my_bootay, dingo727 and loveandpeace42. Waiter was oddly cute and had a sexy voice. Went home and slept.

Saturday: Was supposed to go to the Smell. N___ was supposed to accompany me since I had a bad experience last time. [As I was walking to my car I got mugged for the $2 I had in my wallet.] N___ called me at around 5 to tell me he was in New Orleans. Don’t ask.

Anyhow I went down there to see if I could get parking close to the venue. That was a complete negatory, so I decided to watch The Dreamers instead. Good movie.

Sunday: Shopping madness with my_bootay. The best thing about shopping on a Sunday afternoon? Free street parking!!!! Um… OutKast are insane, and that’s it!

I bought me a tripod. Yay!

I started printing out Valentines cards. Yay!

I’m going to the Smell tonight. Yay!

I’m going to count how many kids with annoying hipster haircuts and tight jeans* will be there. Yay!

I’m going to have a cigarette right now. Yay!

*I’m just curious as to whether or not they will be able to reproduce. I’m pretty sure the BalSac gets pretty cramped up there. Um yeah!

I just downloaded the first track of the new Blonde Redhead album. WOW. It is one of the most beautiful things I’ve heard in a long time.
