I went to the Dodger’s game last night with Roomie’s man, lotusblossom and evildork. What started out looking like us beating the shit out of the Reds turned out to be an extra-innings game. We left after the 10th since we were all tired and work does beckon us. When I got home, I turned on the game and it went on and on. Finally they won it in the 16th inning minutes after midnight.
Somehow I’m still able to wake up at 5:40 am to go to the gym. It’s a mystery since I’m still falling asleep at around Midnight and not taking a nap during the day. One of these days I’m going to collapse, and much hilarity will ensue. Anyhow after work I just lolled around and talked with Roomie about her weekend at Sunset Junction. I know I’m boring right now, but I’m in transition. At least that’s what I’m telling myself.
I did a whole bunch of nothing really. I just milled around, goofed around online, watched scenes from pornos thanks to Naked Sword and that’s about it really.
I just aimed about with lotusblossom all day. We had this one fundraiser party to go to for her coworker running a marathon for AIDS Walk or something like that. In the process I fell in love with this 60-year old crazy English teacher Gloria who loves her 30-year old boy fucks and Brazilian waxing. Also I got some under-the-pants action that just left me feeling really horny. I need a really good fuck right now.
Last night I hung out with my former coworkers from when I worked at that hellhole in Torrance. I hadn’t been to the last three dinners, so it was nice seeing them after so long. When I got home, I helped out Roomie and her boyfriend with their shit to be peddlers @ Sunset Junction this weekend. Although I won’t be going there, I hope they make tons and tons of money.
I went to Rudy’s on Sunset to get my haircut. I don’t care what anyone says, but they always do a good job with my hair. The girl I got to cut my hair was named Memosa. I had to ask her about that one because I thought I misheard it. Nope. Just like the Sunday brunch beverage. Jyes. I then off at Mae Ploy to get some pineapple fried rice and wontons. Since I’ve been going to the gym everyday, my metabolism is on overload. I get famished every three hours, but I get full very easily. So it kind of forces me to eat multiple small meals during the day. Anyhow I also dyed my hair so I look more presentable to the world.
I didn’t go to the gym preferring to catch up on sleep instead. Work has picked up a little but not by much. So I’m still a bit bored here. After work it was movie night! Instead of watching a movie we decided to watch the William Shatner Roast evildork tivo-ed. It cut off Lisa Lampinelli’s speech mid-joke. Fuck. But the funniest roasters were George Takei and Betty White. George’s roast reminded me of vanillaspice at his bitchiest. 🙂
Yesterday, evildork, lotusblossom and I had dinner at Rodeo’s then met up with angiewarhol and her man at the Arclight to see Little Miss Sunshine. It was much better than I had expected. I’m urging everyone to go see it. My sides are still sore from laughing so hard. Or maybe it’s from going to the gym too much. *shrugs* Afterwards we went to this new gelato place in Silverlake right on Sunset/Hyperion. The staff there was very friendly and made great recommendations for flavor combinations. A+!
I took my baby to the vet to get mutilated yesterday. They took him back and gave me back his carrying case. I ran out of the office and started bawling. After a couple of minutes I got under control and drove to work. The whole day I was worrying about him. Finally at 2pm the vet’s office called saying he’s ok. So I left work early at 4 pm to pick him up. As I was carrying him to the car, he started crying. Of course that got me started too. All the way home I was sobbing. Finally when I got home I let him out of the case and hugged him and cried. He’s doing very well and hasn’t mellowed one bit. I guess some things never change. 🙂
I also met up with angwe, his dad, athenae and urbanemonkey last night. I really haven’t seen angwe and athenae since their wedding three years ago. So it was nice to chit chat and all that shit.
After having a lazy day, Madd and I went shopping. I bought more socks at Urban Outfitter, then we had yummy Japanese dinner. I’m a little sad now cuz I just sent my Squee-bee to get snipped.
