I thought there was going to be some relief. It was cloudy with a little sprinkle, and I could hear the thunder roaring from a distance. But in the afternoon, the sun came out, the breeze stopped and the oven burning started. I spent an hour driving since my car has A/C. It was way too hot to cook, so I ended up catching lotusblossom and evildork before they went to see the Flaming Lips and had dinner at Good. It was good. Not great. Just good. You could tell everyone was testy from the heat. Ugh. Is there any relief in sight?
