Sunset Junction was fun. Definite highlights were Gravy Train!!!! and the Gossip. I tried to stick around for the New York Dolls but was too far away to see or hear clearly. I did catch four songs then high tailed it out of there. There were tacky hipsters and booooooooooooring homos. *sighs* But overall it was a mellow festival.
Rode the bus to work again today. Cute Latin boy was on again. We were wearing the same pair of dark tan cords. Insert laugh and a chuckle. Hot! Work was pretty uneventful except for having to deal with stupid dipshits at Home Depot. Fuck them. Going home from work, the hills are not kicking my ass as much. But I really do need to stop falling asleep at 8 only to wake up ravenously hungry. I guess that’s why god invented Fatburger. Mmmmm.
Went to Pink’s today after work with snogmonkey, lotusblossom and Steph. Pictures are here. My gastrointestinal tract feels like a h-bomb is about to go off. 3-2-1. Ka boom!
I took a half day off work today to hang out with Madd. Helped her pick out her outfit for her bday party Saturday, hung out at Santa Monica 3rd Street Promenade for old times sake. Together our bitchiness and utter contempt for people become amplified. Well not contempt for people but meaness I suppose. Like saying to people, “please cover your face cuz it hurts my eyes.” Ha!
So for about a year now, I’ve had a domain name with a blog: artindeepkoma.com. What I’ve done is just post everything here there and vice versa. So enough of this. I will make a separation of blogs so to speak.
artindeepkoma.com will be my main blog from now on. It will be where I post interesting shit, filter things out for the masses. This little LJ will be a daily diary of sorts. Just to get me writing everyday and help me remember shit (cuz my memory IS shit).

It’s very rare that a single webpage will fill me the necessity, no the APPETITE, to blog about it. But here it is. One Bobby Henderson, a “concerned citizen” sent an open letter to the Kansas School Board. He proposes his own theory of Intelligent Design: the world was created by the Flying Spaghetti Monster. To boot he kindly demands that this theory be taught in classrooms.
But the most interesting part comes at the end of the letter where he links global warming to the diminishing number of pirates. With evidence like that, how can you argue?
Ok. Bored out of mind right now. I’m writing up work instructions since I’ve put it off for months now. Pfft. So I just need to post or do something.
Last night I finally got around to dying my hair. There was so much white up in there, I was going nuts. In the last six months, I think I’ve seen a 200% increase in white hairs. Quelle terrible! Well that problem solved.
Now I need a haircut. I think my employee snogmonkey and I are going to get one tomorrow. Or something like that.

Anyhow, since I took a vacation day from work today I decided it would be an opportune time to pick up my instruments that I left at my mom’s. So I got my acoustic and electric guitar as well as my saxaphone (tenor that is). Hot. I also got me a Busy Bee’s sandwich while I was in Pedro. No one makes a better sandwich here in LA. No one. Go there. 24th and Walker.
