Let the Chaos Begin

Pixies show tommorow. Las Vegas this weekend. Start moving next weekend. Europe at the end of the month. Las Vegas again the weekend after I come back to the States. It’s going to be marvelous! I bought the new Sleater-Kinney and Fischerspooner albums this weekend. I love the new Fischerspooner more than the first album. Hell, they even do a cover of the Boredoms! I don’t think I’ve ever heard of a Boredoms cover. Ever! Overall, the music is tighter, the lyrics less self absorbed thanks to Susan Sontag and David Byrne. Yummy! The new S-K album is a little bit of a let down. It’s heavier but not as fun as the last album. Perhaps it will grow on me. And an 11-minute guitar/drone solo?! What the fuck?!
