Slint and Mix
More often than not, I miss shows. Sometimes I just don’t have the funds to see a certain band. Other times I don’t hear about it for some reason (but considering how religiously I read the LA Weekly, that is almost impossible).
Ususally I don’t fret too much if I miss a show. But one show is really chewing away at me: Slint this past Sunday at the Avalon. Of course it doesn’t really help that I read the LA Weekly review of the show. It sounded like a wonderful show, and I really wish I didn’t forget about it. Oh well. I guess I have to hope and pray they will come back to town. (Ha!)
Along the same vein, I made a mix CD. I owe vanillaspice one.
