Add Another Notch

Yesterday my family consolidated the March birthdays and had a celebration for me, two of my cousins and my grandmother. I really haven’t given much thought to the idea of getting older; I’ve just been awaiting the party. But yesterday one of my aunts asked me how old I’m going to be, to which I replied 26. That got me thinking a little: I’m already 26? Wow. It’s not that I feel like I’m getting old. No. I used to feel that way in my early 20s, but since last year I’ve purged that thought from my cognitive process. Now I see it as something to look forward to. I’m edging further away from the stupidity of youth. Well, actually it’s just getting less cute to act stupid now. So to sort of highlight what I’m looking forward to in my 26th27th year…
  • Going to Berlin for a week in the beginning of July.
  • Being more financially responsible.
  • Getting over my anti-social habits.
  • School (?)
It’s not a whole lot, but it’s something I suppose. Anyhow, for those of you who don’t know, I will be celebrating my birthday along with scooter0101001‘s* on Saturday, March 26. We will start out with Korean BBQ, bowling/mini golf (one or the other) and drinks at my place. Let me know if you want to come. *Freakishly we have the same birthday.
