Home Sweet Home!

Roomie and I were in a hotel since Sunday night because our place was bombed for termites and other creepy crawlies. Usually, I’m not averse to being in a hotel room. But the fact that I had to work through those days made it seem imposing. When we were able to go back home yesterday, it was such a relief for me. Anyhow, despite that yesterday was a sad day for me. My senior AP Specialist put in her notice. She got a job doing PR at an upstart Spanish-language TV station. Sad. I spent yesterday trying to convince my former employees to come work for me here. They all said it was too far for them. *sighs* Oh well. I have to brave the temp agencies again.
