Action Packed!!!!

It’s been a great weekend. I went on a hike to the top of Mt Bell in Griffith Park with my_bootay. I was intending to go through the Bronson Caves but ended up on the wrong trail. Nonetheless, the view from the top of Mt Bell was spectacular. You can see all of Glendale and Burbank. Beautiful! Today, after going to Farmers Market in Hollywood with lotusblossom and cleaning house a little, I went to see the lighting of the Vincent Thomas Bridge in San Pedro, my former abode, with lotusblossom and saltyseas. For the last 16 years, they’ve been raising money and planning the lighting of the bridge. Those 16 years were worth it. The lights are blue LEDs that are powered by solar panels. Therefore they will not emit pollution or strain the power grid. That’s just fucking ingenious!
MT BELL HIKE A mini waterfall. Everyone needs a little wood. A view of LA towards the ocean. It was quite hazy. From the top of Mt Bell. This is the Burbank/Glendale border. One of the runways of the Burbank airport. Downtown Glendale. The clouds were like paper cuts against the San Gabriel Mountains. VINCENT THOMAS BRIDGE LIGHTING This is a view from Friendship Park right after the fireworks show. Only Mayor Jim Hahn could fuck up a fireworks show by scheduling it when it was still light outside. I really hope Antonio Villaraigosa wins this time. Experimentation. These were taken within seconds of each other. We went to Pt. Fermin to try and get a decent view. No view. So we hike down the cliff to the ocean. Here’s a picture of lotusblossom and saltyseas. These were taken from a vista off of Gaffey St. close to the Korean Bell. We went to dinner at Ports O Call Restaurant and just ate like no tomorrow. I did have to take my belt off. Afterwards I wanted a closer picture. The first picture is a dancing bridge, so to speak. Of course I had to drive through the bridge. Heheh. Here’s the approach from the Long Beach side (don’t ask). On the bridge.
