Viva!!!

Oh my lordee, what a day. Over the last 24 hours: – I went on a job interview in Burbank (even though I have a temp-perm job lined up for the beginning of the year). I pretty much botched it. – Went to dinner with lotusblossom and saltyseas. – After dinner, we made an impromptu decision to go to Vegas. – Got to Vegas and inquired about rooms. Because of New Years, everything was booked. We said fuck it and went gambling. – Lost $200 @ blackjack. Fortunately I had $300 to gamble, so I didn’t lose everything. – Went back to the car @ 6:30 am to nap. – Woke up at 9 am and went to Bellagio’s buffet. – Recouped $20 at the slots. – Left Vegas @ 1 pm. – Got a phone call on the drive saying I got the job I interviewed for yesterday. – Accepted it, and I start on 1/4. – Endured the torrential downpour and lightning storm. People were driving really sane for once. – Got home. So I go away for a night, and LA washes away in a flood. Hmph.
