Best of 2004?

* Xiu Xiu – Fabulous Muscles * Mae Shi – Terrorbird * Animal Collective – Sung Tongs * Loretta Lynn – Van Lear Rose * Morrissey – You Are the Quarry * Sufjan Stevens – Seven Swans That’s it really. It was a pretty shitty year in music if you ask me. Well. The ones that were good were extremely good. But with PJ Harvey, Bjork and Sonic Youth coming out with pretty mediocre albums, 2004 will remain in my mind as a bad year in music. I’m just wondering if anyone has something else to jog my memory. ?
