Junkie

Before Roomie left to go scampering about in foreign lands, she let me use her laptop. At first I was hesitant to take it out. I’ve been using a desktop for so long, what use do I have for it? Well I crossed that threshold this past weekend, and now I’m completely addicted. Like cats waiting to be fed, I clamor at every chance I get to use it. I search long and far to find places that have free WiFi. As I’m typing this, I’m at my old coffee joint which just installed free WiFi. I can’t stop this!!!! The upsetting part is that once Roomie comes back in several weeks, I won’t have this luxury. This can mean only one thing: MUST GET LAPTOP. I know. I tend to be slow when it comes to techie things, but once I get into it I delve head first into a pool of shallow water. On another note, I’m getting used to messing around with php scripting, so my actual webpage is coming along nicely. Perhaps at some point I will discontinue my LJ. Thank heavens for RSS feeds.
