Descanso Gardens

I spent the day with my mom and aunt-who’s-visiting-from-Dallas @ Descanso Gardens today. Although I was hoping it would be sunny, it was mostly overcast, windy and cold. My aunt really liked this tree in the parking lot. My aunt and mom as you enter the gardens. I thought the colors make a nice contrast from the cloudy day. My mom’s boyfriend. My aunt trying to encroach. Apparently this tree grows in abundance in Korea. The leaves are absolutely smelly, but it’s very pretty. We decided to go on the chaparrel trail. As with everything I do, we ended up doing the trail backwards. Tee hee.
