Assorted Goodies

Ever since the Dodgers and Angels have been bumped out of the playoffs, I’ve been quite disinterested. But I had to watch game 7 of the Yankees-Red Sox game last night. I had to see whether or not the Sox could come back from a 3-0 defecit to crush the Yanks. It was highly improbable, but it happened. The first rains of the year have gone, and now it’s buttfucking cold! Most of the executives here at work are from the East Coast, so they make fun of me as I’m bundled in my winter jacket and scarf. The CEO said I looked like I was living in Boston. Ahk! Alls I know is when it dips below 50 degrees, it’s cold. In preparation of Jeopardy!, it looks like I’m going to have to spend some time in the library reading up on Shakespeare, opera, European monarchs and geography. My knowledge of the first two is horrible. I will probably read the Dummies guides for them and leave it at that. It’s probably best I do this stuff ASAP since memorization is my weak point. Also everything is useless unless you can instantaneously answer a question. Speed, luck, knowledge in descending order. Those are the keys to this game. Oh!!!!! Party update! If you don’t already know, I’ve had to postpone my housewarming party by a week. So it is now going to be on Saturday, November 13. Roomie V3.0 and I have been going back and forth about the theme. It’s still going to have a revolutionary feel, but she wants more of the “Reign of Terror” feel to it. You know, the whole French Revolution guillotines and all. I like the idea but want to update it. I guess this is what I get for moving in with a history teacher. 🙂 But we should make a decision by the weekend to end this stalemate. Heheheh.
