SF

I had such a blast in SF this weekend. My head is still spinning from the sheer decadance and bleakness of the city. As you could imagine, it was a weekend of excess and indulgence I haven’t seen in a long time. At least since my Santa Barbara days. A big thanks go out to pbrane and his housemates for putting up with me for most of the weekend. They have a lovely house in Sunset, and it was nice not having to worry about parking in that neighborhood. I could just go on and on.
  • Mission is much tamer than I’ve been led to believe. I still really liked it.
  • Castro: hated it.
  • Finally got to see the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence. Woo!
  • One word: Josh. I did have some time to sit by myself in a coffeehouse and try and document what I felt throughout the trip. It’s really long winded, and I need to edit it down. I’ll do that sometime this week. So my thanks to feralboy for actually putting up with me all weekend long. That’s more of me than anyone really needs to be subjected to. Also for making a valiant effort of trying to give me directions while really really wasted. That was more amusing than it was frustrating. Hehehehe. Also thanks to saltyseas and lotusblossom for keeping me entertained. Except that they fell asleep on the ride home. Ha! This weekend, I will be up in SB to celebrate skick‘s birthday. Time for me to try and get some work done. Ugh. I am wishing nuclear holocaust on everyone right about now.
