This friend of mine always has a habit of making plans with me only to have something “important” come up at the last minute. After going through this rigamarole several times, I decided to make alternative plans when I make plans with him. Earlier this week we made plans to go to the bars today. Alternatively, I made plans to go to the movies and get some shopping done. He just called me up to cancel, surprise surprise. So I told him it was ok and that I made other plans cuz I knew this would happen. So how DARE he get indignant?! Yeah maybe I was being too blunt, but whatever. When you get stood up by a friend multiple times you have every right to be pissed.
