They say that watching sports is only interesting when you have money riding on the game. For the longest time, I’ve thought that was bullshit. If a game is truly interesting, you should be able to watch it without worrying about money. I’ve put money on football games before, but I’m genuinely interested in the game. Whether I have money on a game or not, I’ll watch it with interest. I’ve been proven wrong. NCAA Men’s basketball has always been a bore to me. But now that I have money in the office pool, I’ve been avidly watching the games all day. Shit. If I win the pool I get $360. I’m all for that shit!
