Just Some Quick Thoughts Before I Go to Sleep

My grandmother and I had another little bonding moment tonight. We were watching the news broadcast from Korea. Of course the coverage was on the impeachment of President Roh and the protests accompanying it. We’re both really sad at what’s happening especially since democracy in South Korea is only 16 years old. We both see it as a part of the rise of the right wing governments in the world. Hopefully the Constitutional Court will listen to not only the people of South Korea but also take heed to what happened in Spain this weekend. I can go into the specifics of the impeachment, but that would bore most people to tears. Let me just say that when Koreans get a hold of anything, we take it to the X-treme (yes, with a capital “X”). Ok. I spent way too much time watching the videos on margaretcho.com. G’night.
