Am I a Crude Old Man…

…or are younger people nowadays more uptight? I was at dingo727‘s cheese party with urbanemonkey and my_bootay tonight which was entertaining. You can never go wrong with cheese and loveandpeace42. As more of dingo727‘s friends showed up, automatically urbanemonkey, my_bootay and I felt old. Being determined to be sociable, I picked up on some conversations going around me. For instance:

Girl: Yeah my roommate is “special”. Boy: Yeah. My roommate and I didn’t get along too well. Me: I can completely identify. During my freshman year of college, I had taken acid for the first time. The next morning I thought I had killed my roommate becuz he didn’t come back all night. Obviously that didn’t happen, but you know how it goes.

So on and so forth. They gave me this look of shock and disgust. Hmmmm. I could tell I would not win this crowd over, so I decided to go out to the patio to have a cigarette. Well, Hershey (the family dog) was in the way so I remarked, “Hershey, if you don’t get out of the way, I will find a good way to cook yr brains. If my peoples can do it, I can do it too.” [insert nervous laughter]. Having said all of this, I don’t know the answer to the first question. Oh well. my_bootay and I went and saw Big Fish afterwards so it was all worth it. Tee hee.
