I’m having a little problem. In years past, I would usually hear and/or buy at least 10 albums that I really enjoyed. After doing a quick count this year, I only counted 7. So my question to y’all is: What artists have released music in 2003 that you really liked? I don’t mean, “Oh this artist is cool and the music is all right,” sort-of-thing. I mean, “Damn this is some far out shit”.
So far, the shit I have is as follows:
Xiu Xiu – A Promise
Deerhoof – Apple O
Ex Models – Zoo Psychology
Blood Brothers – Burn, Piano Island, Burn
Outkast – Speakerboxxx/ The Love Below
Paris – Sonic Jihad
Pleasure Forever – Alter (which I’m considering deleting).
