Hello peoples. I know it’s been a while since I made a significant update so here I go. I spent most of this weekend nursing my mother. On Thursday, she went in to get a benign tumor removed from her urinary bladder. She’s still in some amount of pain, but she refuses to take the Vicadin prescribed to her. My mommy has a nice set of balls on her I must say. So I’ve been trying to force her to rest all weekend. She’s a workaholic so all of this time being inert is driving her stir-crazy. For example, I was doing laundry yesterday. Once I went back upstairs from putting the clothes in the dryer, I found her in the kitchen cooking. Immediately I sent her back to the couch to get her off of her feet. That was my weekend in a nutshell. Work is work. After being called “incompetent” on Friday, I’m still steamed. I stood my ground and prevailed. This just makes me more determined to go back to school, get my degree and be done with accounting/finance. Um. This Friday is my company’s Xmas party. I wonder what wonders will be shown to us this year.
