People wonder why I’m so wary of the Democrats. This is why I’m not to keen on them. How is it they don’t support us getting married, but they support us getting the benefits? True, it’s just a matter of semantics, but it is this issue of semantics that is relegating us queers to sub-human status. One of the arguments I get against is that this nation is not ready for gay marriages. Well this nation wasn’t ready for the abolition of slaves, the Civil Rights Act, but that still happened didn’t it? I’m sorry. I cannot support a candidate who doesn’t have a backbone to support my right to marry whom I choose. You liberals can debate amongst yourselves and curse me all you want. I would rather have Bush again than deal with spineless assholes. You guys deserve him anyhow.
