I Am Thankful
Since this month is Thanksgiving, I thought I would jot down several things I’m thankful for about this weekend. It is by no means comprehensive or anything.
The Smell opening back up again. It’s nice to go to a place that always has music that is challenging to listen to. I’ll probably go hard of hearing after a couple more years of this sonic assault, but oh well. (Mental note: Buy EARPLUGS).
Midnight Special reopening. I know I’ve said it many times in the past couple of days, but you don’t know how ecstatic I am. I can once again be the anti-social book reading nerd I was before February when they closed down. Ahhhh.
The Mae Shi for existing. What a fun band, and what a fun set tonight. It was off da hook. Yes, that does mean Ezra’s mic problems are all forgiven (although I should tell that to my ears).
Mr. mcgee for getting me that beer tonight. I was actually really thirsty when you offered to me. I owe you one.
Oh and since I’m dishing shit out, hisses and evil hexes on the two people who completely flaked out on me. You know who you are. It’s funny since I’m a complete social mess especially when I’m left to fend for myself. I’m amazed I actually talked. Wow.
Oh not only does the Mae Shi rock, but so does Experimental Dental School. Imagine Pleasure Forever but even dancier. Rawk!
