It is cold and rainy today. I’m used to the weatherpeople here in So Cal exaggerating rainfall amounts. Basically if they say we’re going to have rain showers, it’s most likely off-an-on drizzle. If they say it’s significant rainfall, then it’s really a couple of showers. For some reason though, they have been understating the rain lately. Friday they said we were going to have showers. So why was there a torrential downpour as I was driving to SB that night? And last night they said we should expect some showers totalling about a couple hundredths of an inch. Then how come it’s pouring down right now? Grrrrrr. Oh well, this weekend in SB was fun even though I was nursing a hangover for most of the time. I got to play with skick‘s and malkiyah‘s kitties (even though I’m allergic to cats), and had a gloriously unproductive weekend. It was so unproductive I didn’t even take any pictures. Ha on you guys! Um. I really need to get my ass in gear for NaNoWriMo. I did absolutely no writing this weekend, so I have to make up for lost time. Garg. Ploop. And I just want to sleep tonight!
