So I wanna do this for Halloween. If you can’t tell, that’s Macaulay Culkin lying down with his brains exposed. I think that will be ubercool. As to my clothing, I don’t know what to do. Maybe I’ll go as a club kid. Maybe not.
That’s it. Tonight my Bears will be playing Monday Night Football. I just hope they don’t get their butts kicked as bad as New Orleans did last night.
Tonight wasn’t very eventful. I went to an art show in Beverly Hills where I hob-nobbed with the likes of Fran Drescher, Val Kilmer and Salma Hayek. It made me want to start pick-pocketing. I was annoyed more than anything else. Ugh. Perhaps it was my reaction to the really bad perfume. Who knows?
I ended up at the new Zen Sushi in Westwood. I had some nice sake and calamari. Talk talk talk. Nothing too exciting.
I’ve been listening to the Xiu Xiu/Jim Yoshii Pile Up split release on Insound Records. I must say that Xiu Xiu’s song “Fabulous Muscles” is… well… fabulous! I can’t wait for the new album to come out. Supposedly it’s supposed to be more pop which should be interesting. I know never to believe that anything Jamie does will be straight-forward. Anyhow they’re playing The Smell sometime in October or November so I have to be sure to go. I’m still upset that he didn’t schedule an LA show this last time around.

I must thank klikitak for the wonderful day. It was fun filled and talk filled. This is why I like meeting new people: all of my talking seems interesting. Hehehe. The amazing part of today was not once did we leave Orange County — OC seemed really ok. I’m still floored by that fact.
After spending the day farting and talking, we went and saw Party Monster, which despite its tepid reviews was pretty darned good. Seth Green was remarkable as James St. James, and the costume design and makeup was fantastic. Moral of the story: K is bad.
I think I drank too much coffee today. I’m tired as all hell, but my body refuses to shut down. Erg…..
I just got home from the Radiohead show (+ food). The show was good. I was kinda hoping that it would put some life into the new album. It didn’t. But I was really stoked they played “Lucky”, “Airbag”, “Street Spirit”, “Exit Music”, “Idioteque”, “Paranoid Android” and “Everything in Its Right Place”. Especially the last one; it was a perfect way to end the show.
Was it worth the $60? No. I wouldn’t have felt so bad if it was $20. Oh well. Good thing the money was spent months ago and not today.
Anyhow, I need help. I have no idea what I should be for Halloween. Can anyone come up with any good ideas for me to play around with? I would be indebted to you forever!
After taking a nice little nap, I made my “explosive” burritos while listening to the debate last night. Why are they “explosive” you ask? Well because eating just one may cause a severe stomach explosion drenching everything within a 100-foot radius with your innards. Really. I’ll divulge the recipe one of these days. Perhaps.
In regards to the debate, watching it is evidence enough that this recall is a bad idea. Sure, the candidate I’m endorsing started most of the shit, but you have to admit there is a lot of shit to start. Regardless, it was a very entertaining debate.

Anyhow, other than that it wasn’t all that bad today. I’m starting to get excited for the Radiohead show tomorrow night. After all of these years, I finally get to see them. Whether they’re good or not, I’m still taking Friday off. I’m going to lunch with klikitak Friday afternoon and maybe do some thrift shopping. So if anyone wanna come, let me know.

I’m feeling annoyed right now. It’s not at anything in particular. *shrugs* I think it’s that time of the month.
Big news of the day: My company’s former CEO and current consultant resigned yesterday. This has been a long time coming. Legally, I can’t get into everything that he has done in the past, but this will make way for more customers and more money. That’s it for now.
