The Center for Public Integrity has leaked the document that is supposedly the USA PATRIOT Act II. If you scroll down on the index page, you can download the entire document. Since I have a dial up connection, I’m downloading this in parts. I’ve just scanned the first part, and it’s pretty scary. So go read for yourself. Also, how come I didn’t know about the friend’s friends page? For those of you with a paid account, you can access it by adding “friends” to the URL of your friends page, for example http://username.livejournal.com/friendsfriends. It’s pretty cool. If only they can have it so we know which friend these friends are. Or something like that. *shrugs* Apparently the new Liz Phair CD is really bad, LA Weekly has four reviewers to defend/criticize the CD. Hmmmm. I still insist the only halfway decent album she did was Exile in Guyville. Blah.
